BUET Admission Result

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET Admission Result has been published. Today, November 25, BUET Result 2021 was published. The written test of the candidates who passed the preliminary examination was held on 6th November 2021. A total of 5,944 students took part in the written test. Of these, 1,960 were preliminarily selected. Of these, 1,215 students will get the opportunity for admission. The pass rate in BUET Written Admission Result is 33.03 percent.

BUET WRITTEN RESULT 2021

On November 25, BUET Written Result 2021 was published on the official admission website ugadmission.buet.ac.bd and notice board. BUET Selection Test 2020-21 was held on 20 and 21 October. A total of 6,000 candidates were selected for the written test in the preliminary examination. Six candidates were absent from the written test. BUET has prepared the candidate merit list for admission only on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test.

The BUET admission test is in two groups. Group A consisted of engineering departments and urban and regional planning departments. Group B includes engineering departments and urban and regional planning departments as well as architecture departments. In the pre-election test, a multiple-choice test of 100 marks on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry was conducted for both groups A and B. In the written test, there are 400 marks for group KA and 650 marks for group KHA. Group-A tests are conducted on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Group B tests are conducted on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as well as Free Hand Drawing and Visual and Spatial Intelligence.

The total number of seats in BUET is 1,215 for the Academic year 2020-21. A total of 1,155 seats (including 3 reserved seats) for engineering and urban and regional planning departments. A total of 60 seats (including 1 reserved seat) for the architectural department.

According to the published results, 60 candidates have been preliminarily selected for admission in the Department of Architecture, and 120 candidates are on the waiting list. A total of 1,155 students have been preliminarily selected for admission in engineering and urban and regional planning departments, with 645 on the waiting list.
